    Excellent property within a central position for Albir for shopping, restaurants & bars. The beach only a 10 minutes walk away. Lovely very functional balcony that could be used all year round with the sun shining through in the morning. Nice outside garden area to use for the sunshine in the afternoon. Good double bedroom with en-suite; the other bedroom a bit on the small size, but our friends used the third bedroom, which had bunk beds, to store their cases & some clothing. We would definitely stay again in Las Terrazas.

    The apartment is ideal, there is nothing to fault. Everything is super clean, very well equipped when it comes to kitchen utensils, the beds are super comfortable, etc. Very well connected to Benidorm by public transport.

    Easy to book and owner was easy to contact, very clean and tidy. The kitchen was perfectly equipped along with washing machine etc. Very central and 5 or so mins from the sea front. A nice touch with sugar, tea, water and a couple of beers along with toilet rolls — our other apartments hadn’t had these.

Living room at Las Terrazas de El Albir

Las Terrazas de El Albir is our apartment on the Costa Blanca: three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a glazed balcony, sleeping up to six. Racó de l’Albir beach is 700 metres away, and the supermarkets a five-minute walk.

There is a swimming pool, free public parking 20 metres away, Wi-Fi and television with Norwegian channels. You book directly with Solveig, with no middleman.

Our flat is not the newest or the most luxurious, and it is not on the seafront either, but we look after it with care and we are proud to have it available for our guests. That is why every year we carry out repairs and improvements (there is surely still plenty left to do!) so that our guests feel at home.

Our beach is Racó de l’Albir, 700 metres from the apartment. Right next to it is Cap Blanch beach, which is in Altea.

Two doubles and one with bunk beds for children.

No hunting for a space

Large public parking

There is always a space free. No driving in circles, no parking fees: you just arrive and park. You have three options:

  • In front of the building entrance.
  • 20 m away: the public gravel car park. This is the one we recommend, the closest.
  • 50 m away: the asphalted public car park.

The asphalted car park is NOT available on Sundays: the street market is held there.

Where you will be

El Albir

El Albir is a seaside town on the Costa Blanca, right beside Altea and very close to Benidorm, but with a completely different pace from either of them.

It is what people look for when they want the coast without the crowds: the beaches here do not fill up, not even in the middle of August. You come to walk, to swim and to have dinner unhurried.

It is a quiet, family destination, chosen season after season by families from the Netherlands, England and, above all, Norway.

Roman villa of l’Albir

The town has an archaeological site dating from the 3rd to the 7th century: the Roman villa of l’Albir. We recommend a visit.

The site also hosts open-air concerts at night.

Las Fiestas de l’Albir

These are the town’s annual festivities, held inside the Parque de los Eucaliptos, 550 metres from the flat.

There are parades and live DJs.

Thank you for choosing our home. Here you have, in a few seconds and without searching, everything you need to know about the apartment: how each thing works and where to find it.

Entrance door

Always close the entrance door properly.

Before you leave, pull the handle and check that it is fully locked.

Swimming pool

Open from 10:00 to 21:00.

Children under 12: they may not use the pool without a responsible adult with them.

Silent hours: 15:00 to 17:00. Please avoid shouting and loud noise, out of respect for the neighbours.

Caring for the environment

The environment matters a lot to us. We live in a beautiful place, and keeping it that way depends on small gestures repeated every day.

During your stay we only ask two things of you: use the air conditioning and hot water sensibly and separate your waste properly. Thank you for leaving El Albir as you would like to find it.

Air conditioning

Recommended setting: 25 °C during the day and 26 °C at night.

This is the ideal setting for indoor comfort.

Electric water heater

The hot water heater has an eco mode and a normal mode.

We recommend leaving it on eco mode: it heats plenty of water for everyday use.

If there are several of you showering one after another, set it to suit you: switch to normal mode for as long as you need, then back to eco.

Recycling

In El Albir, waste is separated into four containers:

  • Recyclable packaging (plastic, cans): yellow container.
  • Glass: green container.
  • Cardboard: grey and blue container.
  • General waste: grey container.

In the flat: the bin is under the kitchen sink. If you need it, there is a second bin in the laundry room that you can use for packaging. We encourage you to use both and separate your waste right from the start.

The nearest yellow container is just around the corner from the flat, on Camino Viejo de Altea.

Balcony glass panels (Lumon®)

The glazing consists of Lumon® stackable panels. You open them by sliding and rotating each panel until it stacks to one side:

  • Side panels stack to the LEFT.
  • Front panels stack to the RIGHT.

Espresso machine and grinder

We are coffee lovers, especially of espresso! The kitchen has an espresso machine with a grinder, and also a filter coffee maker if you prefer.

We recommend buying whole-bean coffee at D·Origen, here in El Albir, and grinding it fresh: you can taste the difference.

1. The grinder. It is an Italian Gaggia. First plug it in; it switches on with the knob on the lower right-hand side.

2. Turning the machine on. First check that the water tank at the back has water in it; top it up if it is low. Then switch it on with the knob on the lower right-hand side, just like the grinder. Do not touch the button on the front.

3. Making the coffee. The large button must never be pressed in. When the ready light comes on, turn the dial to the left, towards the cup symbol.

It is not automatic: when your cup is ready, turn the dial back to the middle to stop the coffee. Otherwise it overflows.
