Las Terrazas de El Albir is our apartment on the Costa Blanca: three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a glazed balcony, sleeping up to six. Racó de l’Albir beach is 700 metres away, and the supermarkets a five-minute walk.
There is a swimming pool, free public parking 20 metres away, Wi-Fi and television with Norwegian channels. You book directly with Solveig, with no middleman.

Our beach is Racó de l’Albir, 700 metres from the apartment. Right next to it is Cap Blanch beach, which is in Altea.

Usable in summer and in winter alike.

Both with shower and bidet. One of them also has a bathtub and a hairdryer.

Two doubles and one with bunk beds for children.

With espresso machine, coffee grinder and dishwasher.

Guest library
We have a few books in different languages left behind by other guests. If you would like to leave one for the next guests, we would really appreciate it.

Mercadona and Lidl, 5 minutes on foot.
Where you will be
El Albir
El Albir is a seaside town on the Costa Blanca, right beside Altea and very close to Benidorm, but with a completely different pace from either of them.
It is what people look for when they want the coast without the crowds: the beaches here do not fill up, not even in the middle of August. You come to walk, to swim and to have dinner unhurried.
It is a quiet, family destination, chosen season after season by families from the Netherlands, England and, above all, Norway. Hearing Norwegian along the promenade is completely normal here — which is why the apartment has television with Norwegian channels.

Entrance door
Always close the entrance door properly.
Before you leave, pull the handle and check that it is fully locked.
Swimming pool
Open from 10:00 to 21:00.
Silent hours: 15:00 to 17:00. Please avoid shouting and loud noise, out of respect for the neighbours.
Air conditioning
Recommended setting: 25 °C during the day and 26 °C at night.
This is the ideal setting for indoor comfort.
Parking
There is always a space. You have three options:
- In front of the building entrance.
- 20 m away: the public gravel car park. This is the one we recommend, the closest.
- 50 m away: the asphalted public car park.
The asphalted car park is NOT available on Sundays: the street market is held there.
Balcony glass panels (Lumon®)
The glazing consists of Lumon® stackable panels. You open them by sliding and rotating each panel until it stacks to one side:
- Side panels stack to the LEFT.
- Front panels stack to the RIGHT.

Espresso machine and grinder
The kitchen has an espresso machine with a grinder, and also a filter coffee maker if you prefer.
1. The grinder. It is an Italian Gaggia. First plug it in; it switches on with the knob on the lower right-hand side.
2. Turning the machine on. It also switches on with the knob on the lower right-hand side. Do not touch the button on the front.
3. Making the coffee. The large button must never be pressed in. When the ready light comes on, turn the dial to the left, towards the cup symbol.
It is not automatic: when your cup is ready, turn the dial back to the middle to stop the coffee. Otherwise it overflows.
4. Prefer filter coffee? There is also a filter coffee maker available.

Excellent coffee shop and brunch spot, with specialty coffee they roast themselves. We recommend buying whole beans and grinding them here in the flat with our Italian Gaggia grinder.

Nepalese and Indian restaurant of excellent quality.

Artisan gluten-free ice cream shop. The flavours we recommend: dulce de leche and pistachio.

Sunday street market
On Sundays the street market is set up: clothes, shoes, bags, toys and food. Well worth a wander.
It takes over the asphalted public car park, so on that day leave the car in the dirt one, 20 m from the building.
